Issuing the Regulation on Film Content Review and Distribution Permit Issuance

MINISTER OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM

Pursuant to the Cinema Law dated June 29, 2006 and Decree No. 96/2007/ND-CP dated June 6, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Cinema Law;

Article 1. Other types of artistic performances

Pursuant to Decree No. 61/2002/ND-CP dated June 11, 2002 of the Government on remuneration rates;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Cinema Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached to this Decision:

1. The Regulation on Film Content Review and Distribution Permit Issuance.

2. The following forms:

a) Application for Distribution Permit for Film;

b) Film Review Form;

c) Film Review Minutes;

d) Film Distribution Permit;

đ) Decision not to permit film distribution or prohibit film distribution;

e) Decision to temporarily suspend or terminate film distribution.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The Film Approval Regulation issued together with Decision No. 2455/QD-DA dated August 9, 1997 and the Provision on the Organization and Operation of Provincial Film Approval Committees issued together with Decision No. 2332/QD-DA dated August 2, 1997 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Director of the Cinema Department, the Head of the Office, the Directors of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organizations and individuals related to film content review and distribution permit issuance are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
