DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the upgrading of Hai Hung Secondary Teacher Training School to Hung Yen College of Education
Hai Hung Secondary Teacher Training School is upgraded to Hung Yen College of Education.
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/CP dated November 24, 1993 of the Government stipulating the framework structure of the national education system, the system of educational certificates and diplomas in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training in Circular No. 9596/KHTC dated December 24, 1996;
DECISION:
Article 1. - Upgrading Hai Hung Secondary Teacher Training School to Hung Yen College of Education.
Article 2. - Hung Yen College of Education shall be responsible for training and enhancing cadres at the college level, conducting scientific research to meet the requirements for socio-economic development.
Article 3. - Hung Yen College of Education is under the direct administration of the People's Committee of Hung Yen Province, subject to the sectoral management of the Ministry of Education and Training; it shall enjoy the policies and systems of the State applicable to the University and College system.
Article 4. - This Decision takes effect from February 7, 1997.
Article 5. - The Minister of Education and Training, the People's Committee of Hung Yen Province, the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
