DECISION
On the interest rate for credit loans for investment development

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992;

At the request of the Development Support Fund as stated in Circular No. 292/HTPT-KHNV dated March 22, 2000, and the State Bank of Vietnam as stated in Circular No. 374/TT-NHNN1 dated May 4, 2000,

Article 1. Projects borrowing state credit investment funds (including ongoing loan projects) disbursed from January 1, 2000 shall apply the interest rate specified in Article 1 of Decision No. 175/QĐ-TTg dated March 2, 2000 of the Government Prime Minister. The outstanding debt balance as of December 31, 1999 shall retain the interest rate stipulated in the signed credit contract.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, and Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
