DECREE
Approving the number, list of electoral units, and the number of representatives to be elected in each electoral unit for the provincial People's Council
at each electoral unit for People's Council deputies
for the term 2004 - 2009 in Ho Chi Minh City
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Elections of Members of People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date of elections of members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2004-2009 term;
At the request of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECREE
Article 1. Approves the number of 28 (twenty-eight) electoral units, 95 (ninety-five) People's Council deputies of the province, and the number of deputies to be elected at each electoral unit for People's Council deputies for the term 2004 - 2009 in Ho Chi Minh City (attached list).
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Council, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister, Head of the Government Office shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
