Issuing the "Regulation on Management of the Software Industry Development Program and the Digital Content Industry Development Program of Vietnam"

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 51/2007/QĐ-TTg dated April 12, 2007 approving the Software Industry Development Program until 2010 and Decision No. 56/2007/QĐ-TTg dated May 3, 2007 approving the Digital Content Industry Development Program until 2010;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Information and Communications,

DECISION:

Article 1. The attached "Regulation on Management of the Software Industry Development Program and the Digital Content Industry Development Program of Vietnam" is hereby issued.

Article 2. Amending the implementation period of the Software Industry Development Program until 2010 (issued pursuant to Decision No. 51/2007/QĐ-TTg dated April 12, 2007) and the Digital Content Industry Development Program until 2010 (issued pursuant to Decision No. 56/2007/QĐ-TTg dated May 3, 2007) to December 31, 2012.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from May 20, 2009.

Article 4. THE MINISTERS, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-LEVEL MINISTRIES, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-LEVEL AGENCIES, AND CHAIRMEN OF PROVINCE AND CITY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
