Issuing National Technical Regulations
on the safety of individual self-rescue devices used in underground mines

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Regulations and Standards; Decree No. 78/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Governmentamending and supplementing some Articles of Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Regulations and Standards;

Pursuant to Decree No. 98/2017/NĐ-CP dated August 18, 2017, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Safety Technology and Industrial Environment;

The Minister of Industry and Trade promulgates the National Technical Regulation on the safety of individual self-rescue devices used in underground mines.

Article 1. This Circular promulgates the National Technical Regulation on the safety of individual self-rescue devices used in underground mines.

Designation: QCVN 01:2018/MIC.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from January 18, 2019.

Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Department of Safety and Environmental Technology; Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
