Strengthening the Steering Committee for the Agriculture and Rural Development Program in the Central Highlands
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Cooperative Economy and Rural Development and the Director of the Personnel Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Steering Committee for the Agriculture and Rural Development Program in the Central Highlands (hereinafter referred to as the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands) shall consist of the following members:
1. Chairman: Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development responsible for the Central Highlands region.
2. Vice Chairmen:
a) Director of the Department of Cooperative Economy and Rural Development;
b) Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak Province.
3. Members:
a) Director of the Forestry Department;
b) Director of the Water Resources Department;
c) Director of the Aquaculture Department;
d) Deputy Director of the Forest Protection Department responsible for the Central Highlands region;
đ) Deputy Director of the Crop Production Department responsible for the Central Highlands region;
e) Deputy Director of the Livestock Department responsible for the Central Highlands region;
g) Deputy Director of the Planning Department responsible for the Central Highlands region;
h) Director of the National Center for Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation;
i) Director of the National Agricultural and Fishery Extension Center;
k) Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kon Tum Province;
l) Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Gia Lai Province;
m) Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Nong Province;
n) Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lam Dong Province;
o) Representative of the leadership of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of the provinces: Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, and Binh Phuoc;
p) Director of the Institute of Science and Technology for Agriculture and Forestry in the Central Highlands;
q) Member of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group;
r) Member of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Timber Corporation;
s) Member of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Coffee Corporation.
Article 2. The Steering Committee for the Central Highlands has the task of assisting the Minister in directing the development of programs, action plans, and implementation of tasks related to agricultural and rural development in the Central Highlands region according to the tasks assigned by the Government.
Article 3. Office of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands
Establish the Office of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands located at the Department of Cooperative Economy and Rural Development. The Office of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands will have a permanent office in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province.
The Office of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands shall be headed by the Director兼任办公室主任,并由专职或兼职的副主任协助。办公室主任由主任决定(专职情况下需经部长同意)。
Article 4. Specific tasks of the members of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands shall be assigned by the Chairman. The working system of the members and the office of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands shall follow the operational regulations of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands issued by the Minister.
Article 5. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature and replaces Decision No. 3397/QD-BNN/TCCB dated October 5, 2004 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Article 6. The Director of the General Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Personnel Department, the Heads of relevant agencies and units, and the members named in Article 1 and Article 3 of this Decision shall be responsible for its implementation./.
