REGARDING THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF HONG DAN DISTRICT TO ESTABLISH PHUOC LONG DISTRICT, BAC LIEU PROVINCE
TO FORM PHUOC LONG DISTRICT, BAC LIEU PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BAC LIEU PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW, THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF HONG DAN DISTRICT ARE ADJUSTED TO ESTABLISH PHUOC LONG DISTRICT, BAC LIEU PROVINCE AS FOLLOWS:
PHUOC LONG DISTRICT IS ESTABLISHED ON THE BASIS OF 40,482 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 101,322 POPULATION OF HONG DAN DISTRICT; PHUOC LONG DISTRICT HAS 40,482 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 101,322 POPULATION; IT INCLUDES 7 SUBORDINATE ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS, WHICH ARE THE COMMUNES: PHONG THANH NAM, PHUOC LONG, VYNG PHU TAY, VYNG THANH, VYNG PHU DONG, HUNG PHU AND THE MARKET TOWN OF PHUOC LONG. THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF PHUOC LONG DISTRICT: EAST ADJACENT TO VINH LOI DISTRICT AND SOC TRANG PROVINCE; WEST ADJACENT TO HONG DAN DISTRICT AND CA MAU PROVINCE; SOUTH ADJACENT TO VINH LOI DISTRICT AND GIA RAI DISTRICT; NORTH ADJACENT TO HONG DAN DISTRICT. AFTER THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES TO ESTABLISH PHUOC LONG DISTRICT, HONG DAN DISTRICT HAS 42,118 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 91,306 POPULATION, INCLUDING 7 SUBORDINATE ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS, WHICH ARE THE COMMUNES: VINH LOC, NHIN THANH LOI, LOC NINH, NHIN HOA, NHIN QUI, NHIN QUI A AND THE MARKET TOWN OF NGAN DU.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BAC LIEU PROVINCE, THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THE HEADS OF THE RELATED AUTHORITIES SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE./.
