Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of Hoành Bồ district to expand Ha Long city and establish wards under Cẩm Phả town, Quang Ninh province

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government;
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries of Hoành Bồ district are adjusted to expand Ha Long city and establish wards under Cẩm Phả town, Quang Ninh province as follows:
1. Adjustment of the administrative boundaries of Hoành Bồ district: incorporate the entire natural area and population of the two communes of Việt Hưng and Đại Yên in Hoành Bồ district into Ha Long city.
After incorporating the aforementioned two communes, Ha Long city will have 63,611 hectares of natural area and 181,446 inhabitants, including 20 administrative units directly under it, comprising 16 wards: Bạch Đằng, Hồng Gai, Hà Khẩu, Giếng Đáy, Bãi Cháy, Trần Hưng Đạo, Yết Kiêu, Cao Xanh, Hà Khánh, Cao Thắng, Hà Lầm, Hà Trung, Hà Phong, Hà Tu, Hồng Hà, Hồng Hải, and four communes: Hùng Thắng, Tuần Châu, Việt Hưng, and Đại Yên.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, transfer the two communes of Việt Hưng and Đại Yên to Ha Long city, Hoành Bồ district will have: 82,353 hectares of natural area and 38,317 inhabitants; including 13 administrative units directly under it, comprising 12 communes: Lê Lợi, Sơn Dương, Quảng La, Dân Chủ, Bằng Cả, Thống Nhất, Vũ Oai, Đồng Lâm, Đồng Sơn, Tân Dân, Hòa Bình, Kỳ Thượng, and the township of Trới.
2. Establishing the wards of Cẩm Bình and Quang Hanh under Cẩm Phả town based on maintaining the original natural area and population of the two communes of Cẩm Bình and Quang Hanh.
Ward Cẩm Bình has 106.57 hectares of natural area and 7,441 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of ward Cẩm Bình: East borders ward Cẩm Đông; West borders ward Cẩm Thành; South borders the East Sea; North borders ward Cẩm Tây.
Ward Quang Hanh has 5,615.1 hectares of natural area and 12,197 inhabitants.
Administrative boundary of ward Quang Hanh: East borders ward Cẩm Thạch; West borders Ha Long city; South borders the East Sea; North borders commune Dương Huy.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF QUANG NINH PROVINCE, THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THE HEADS OF THE RELATED AUTHORITIES SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECREE./.
