Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the stable logging volume indicators for natural forests for the provinces during the period 2002 - 2005 at 300,000 m3/year.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall allocate the logging volume plan quotas for each province during the period 2002 - 2005 according to their respective functions and tasks; direct the design of logging activities and supervise the implementation of forest harvesting operations in accordance with current regulations.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Ministers of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of the provinces with natural forests are responsible for implementing this Decision.
