THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Resolution No.: 120 NQ/BCS dated November 30, 2001 of the Party Cadre Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the organization and construction of research institutes;
Pursuant to Decision No.: 76/1998/QĐ-BNN/TCCB dated May 27, 1998 of the Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development stipulating the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Southern Agricultural Science and Technology Institute;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Southern Agricultural Science and Technology Institute and the Director of the Personnel Department.
Consolidate the Song Be Livestock Breeding Experimental Research Center and the Dairy Cow Rearing Research and Training Center into the Large Livestock Rearing Research and Training Center under the Southern Agricultural Science and Technology Institute.
DECISION:
Article 1. The Center shall be a unit for experimental research, training, and technology transfer related to large livestock; the Center shall use its seal and open a separate account at the Treasury in accordance with current State regulations; the main office of the Center shall be located in Lai Hung Commune, Ben Cat District, Binh Duong Province.
Tasks of the Large Livestock Rearing Research and Training Center:
Article 2. - Conduct experimental research and technology transfer related to large livestock (ruminants), feed crops, and pastures;
- Maintain and breed pure breeds, imported breeds, and crossbreeds of large livestock;
- Train technicians and farmers in large livestock rearing techniques;
- Develop models, transfer technology, and produce large livestock breeding stock to serve various economic sectors.
The Center shall have a Director and Deputy Directors.
The Director of the Southern Agricultural Science and Technology Institute shall stipulate the tasks, organizational structure, staffing, and appoint and dismiss the Director of the Center in accordance with current regulations.
This Decision shall take effect 15 days from the date of signature; all previous decisions regarding the organization of the two Centers prior to consolidation that conflict with this Decision shall cease to be enforceable.
Article 3. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Personnel Department, the heads of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry, and the Southern Agricultural Science and Technology Institute shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Article 4. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Cadre Organization Department, and the heads of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry and the South Agricultural Science and Technology Institute are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
