THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

CONSIDERING the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province,

 DECREE:

Clause 4 of Article 6Adjusting the administrative boundaries of communes; establishing communes, expanding towns in the districts of Do Luong, Tuong Duong, Yen Thanh, Nghe Luc, Nghe An province as follows:

1. Establishing the commune of Giang Son Dong under Do Luong district based on adjusting 2,490.20 hectares of natural area and 7,381 population from the commune of Giang Son.

The commune of Giang Son Dong has 2,490.20 hectares of natural area and 7,381 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Giang Son Dong: East borders the commune of Tay Thanh and the commune of Thinh Thanh, Yen Thanh district; West borders the commune of Giang Son Tay, Do Luong district; South borders the commune of Hong Son, Do Luong district; North borders the commune of Ky Tan and the town of Lat, Tan Ky district.

2. Establishing the commune of Giang Son Tay under Do Luong district based on 1,724.71 hectares of natural area and 4,079 population remaining from the commune of Giang Son.

The commune of Giang Son Tay has 1,724.71 hectares of natural area and 4,079 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Giang Son Tay: North and East border the commune of Giang Son Dong, Do Luong district; West borders the commune of Tao Son, Anh Son district, the commune of Nghia Hanh, the commune of Ky Son, and the town of Lat, Tan Ky district; South borders the commune of Hong Son, the commune of Boi Son, and the commune of Lam Son, Do Luong district.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries:

Do Luong district has 33 subordinate administrative units, including the communes: Giang Son Dong, Giang Son Tay, Hong Son, Bai Son, Lam Son, Ngoc Son, Boi Son, Trang Son, Nam Son, Bac Son, Dang Son, Luu Son, Dong Son, Yen Son, Van Son, Thinh Son, Hoa Son, Tan Son, Thai Son, Quang Son, Thuan Son, Dai Son, Minh Son, Nhan Son, Xuan Son, Lac Son, Trung Son, Thuan Son, Da Son and the town of Do Luong.

3. Establishing the commune of Xiang My under Tuong Duong district based on adjusting 12,252.08 hectares of natural area and 2,776 population from the commune of Nga My.

The commune of Xiang My has 12,252.08 hectares of natural area and 2,776 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Xiang My: East borders the commune of Binh Chuan, Con Cuong district and the commune of Dien Lam, Quy Chau district; West borders the commune of Yen Thang, Tuong Duong district; South borders the commune of Binh Chuan and the commune of Cam Lam, Con Cuong district; North borders the commune of Nga My, Tuong Duong district and the commune of Dien Lam, Quy Chau district.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries:

The commune of Nga My remains with 18,543.84 hectares of natural area and 4,372 population.

Tuong Duong district has 22 subordinate administrative units, including the communes: Nga My, Xiang My, Huu Duong, Huu Khuong, Kim Da, Kim Tien, Luong Minh, Luu Kien, Luu Mai, Mai Son, Non Mai, Tam Ding, Tam Hop, Tam Quang, Tam Thai, Thach Giam, Xa Luong, Yen Hoa, Yen Na, Yen Thang, Yen Tinh and the town of Tuong Duong.

4. Establishing the commune of Hung Thanh under Yen Thanh district based on adjusting 1,528.02 hectares of natural area and 5,492 population from the commune of Hau Thanh.

The commune of Hung Thanh has 1,528.02 hectares of natural area and 5,492 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Hung Thanh: East borders the commune of Hau Thanh, Yen Thanh district; West borders the commune of Kim Thanh; South borders the commune of Phuc Thanh; North borders the commune of Lang Thanh.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries:

The commune of Hau Thanh remains with 798.60 hectares of natural area and 5,184 population.

Yen Thanh district has 38 subordinate administrative units, including the communes: Hau Thanh, Hung Thanh, Bao Thanh, Bac Thanh, Cong Thanh, Do Thanh, Dong Thanh, Duc Thanh, Hong Thanh, Hop Thanh, Hoa Thanh, Khanh Thanh, Lang Thanh, Lien Thanh, Long Thanh, Ly Thanh, Ma Thanh, Minh Thanh, My Thanh, Nam Thanh, Nhan Thanh, Phuc Thanh, Phu Thanh, Quang Thanh, Son Thanh, Tang Thanh, Tan Thanh, Tho Thanh, Thinh Thanh, Trung Thanh, Van Thanh, Vien Thanh, Vinh Thanh, Xuan Thanh, Dai Thanh, Tay Thanh, Kim Thanh and the town of Yen Thanh.

5. Adjusting the administrative boundaries of the communes of Nghi Trung, Nghi Long, Nghi Hoa, Nghi Dien to expand the town of Quan Hang in Nghe Luc district:

Adjust 174.23 hectares of natural area and 1,532 population of Nghi Trung commune; 11.07 hectares of natural area and 253 population of Nghi Long commune; 132.6 hectares of natural area and 1,434 population of Nghi Hoa commune; 20.61 hectares of natural area and 97 population of Nghi Dien commune under the management of Quan Hanh town.

Quan Hanh town has 389.90 hectares of natural area and 5,114 population.

Administrative boundary of Quan Hanh town: East borders Nghi Trung commune and Nghi Long commune; West borders Nghi Dien commune and Nghi Hoa commune; South borders Nghi Trung commune; North borders Nghi Long commune and Nghi Hoa commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries:

- Nghi Trung commune remains with 783.58 hectares of natural area and 7,756 population.

- Nghi Hoa commune remains with 496.92 hectares of natural area and 5,512 population.

- Nghi Long commune remains with 658.17 hectares of natural area and 6,812 population.

- Nghi Dien commune remains with 689.44 hectares of natural area and 6,991 population.

12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThis Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Minister of Home Affairs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
