CIRCULAR
ISSUING 03 NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON MOTORCYCLE AND TWO-WHEELER PARTS

WHEREAS, the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006 and Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 107/2012/NĐ-CP dated December 20, 2012 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department and the Director of the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Agency;
THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT hereby issues 03 NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS on motorcycle and two-wheeler parts.
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR are 03 NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATIONS on motorcycle and two-wheeler parts as follows:
1. NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION on technical requirements and testing methods for steel rims of motorcycles and two-wheelers;
REGULATION NUMBER: QCVN 44 : 2012/BGTVT.
2. NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION on technical requirements and testing methods for alloy rims of motorcycles and two-wheelers;
REGULATION NUMBER: QCVN 46 : 2012/BGTVT.
3. NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION on lead-acid batteries used on motorcycles and two-wheelers;
REGULATION NUMBER: QCVN 47 : 2012/BGTVT.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2013.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, the Director of the Vietnam Motor Vehicle Inspection Agency, and Heads of related agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
