DECISION
NUMBER 526/NL-TCKT OF AUGUST 17, 1989
ON THE PRICING FOR ELECTRICITY SALES IN FOREIGN CURRENCY
MINISTER OF ENERGY
Pursuant to the Decree No. 47-HĐBT of March 5, 1987 of the Council of Ministers on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Energy; Implementing the opinion of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers agreeing with the Electricity Industry under the Ministry of Energy to collect foreign currency for electricity sales and service fees in foreign currency (document No. 1197-CN dated July 6, 1989 from the Chairman of the Council of Ministers);
After consultation and agreement with the State Management Committee on Prices and relevant sectors.
DECIDES:
Article 1.- The following prices for electricity sales in foreign currency are hereby established for various types of customers:
a) Electricity supplied for production and business activities: 0.06 USD/kWh.
b) Electricity supplied for household consumption and other needs for representatives of organizations and individuals from abroad: 0.09 USD/kWh.
For Zone I, the current applicable rates shall be maintained.
Article 2.- Heads of relevant Departments and Bureaus, Directors of Electricity Companies shall coordinate with relevant sectors and localities to implement this Decision.
Article 3.- This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance; any previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.
