GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;
Pursuant to the Law on Credit Institutions 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Credit Institutions 2004;
Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
At the proposal of the Head of the Payment Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Amend Point 3 of Annex 3 of the Regulations on the bank code system used in payment transactions through the State Bank issued accompanying Decision No. 02/2006/QĐ-NHNN of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam dated January 18, 2006 as follows:

Change the transaction name of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for People's Friendship to Joint Stock Commercial Bank Sai Gon - Ha Noi and retain the bank's sequential code number as follows:

3. Joint Stock Commercial Bank:

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from November 13, 2006.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Payment Department, the Director of the Information Technology Department of the State Bank, the Heads of units under the State Bank, the Directors of the State Bank Branches, the Chairmen of the Management Councils, General Managers (Directors) of organizations providing payment services shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
