Circular No. 53/2009/TT-BTC guiding the suspension of border crossing fees at Bu Prang and Dak Puer border gates in Dak Nong province

CIRCULAR

GUIDELINES ON SUSPENDING THE COLLECTION OF BORDER CROSSING FEES

AT THE BORDER GATES BU PRANG AND DAK PUER, DAK NONG PROVINCE

Pursuant to the Decree on Fees and Charges;

BASED ON Decree No. 57/2002/NĐ-CP dated June 3, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Fees and Charges; Decree No. 24/2006/NĐ-CP dated March 6, 2006 amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 57/2002/NĐ-CP;

BASED ON Decree No. 118/2008/NĐ-CP dated November 27, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

BASED ON the guidance of the Prime Minister as stated in Official Letter No. 868/VPCP-KTTH dated February 12, 2009 of the Government Office regarding the suspension of the collection of border crossing fees at the two border gates Bu Prang and Dak Puer, Dak Nong Province;

The Ministry of Finance hereby provides guidelines for suspending the collection of border crossing fees at the border gates Bu Prang and Dak Puer, Dak Nong Province as follows:

Article 1. The collection of land border crossing fees at the border gates Bu Prang and Dak Puer, Dak Nong Province, as prescribed in Decision No. 66/2001/QĐ-BTC dated July 5, 2001 of the Minister of Finance on the establishment of the level of collection of land border crossing fees between Vietnam and neighboring countries, shall be suspended until new guidelines are issued.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from May 1, 2009.

Article 3. During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties, organizations, individuals, or related agencies are requested to report to the Ministry of Finance for study and appropriate adjustment./.
