DECREE
OF THE PRIME MINISTER GOVERNMENT NUMBER 532/TTG ON MAY 18, 1955 REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR WORKER MANAGEMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 226-SL dated November 28, 1946 organizing the Ministry of Labor.
Pursuant to Decree No. 65-LĐ-NĐ dated November 3, 1954 changing the Civilian Service Department into the Human Resources Section:
At the proposal of the Minister of Labor.
DECREE:
Article 1- The Ministry of Labor shall establish a Department for Worker Management to replace the Human Resources Section.
DUTIES AND POWERS:
Article 2- The Department for Worker Management has the following duties:
1) To study and promptly propose policies and regulations on mobilizing and utilizing workers; monitor their implementation. Study civilian service systems in peacetime.
2) To plan the distribution of workers to sectors requiring labor force; address unemployment issues for jobless workers.
3) To coordinate with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (1) and related sectors to study plans for training professional workers, guide the organization and education of workers, and improve labor productivity.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
Article 3- The organizational structure of the Department for Worker Management shall be determined by the Ministry of Labor
Article 4- The Department for Worker Management shall be headed by a Director who may have one or two Deputy Directors.
Article 5- The Minister of Labor is responsible for implementing this Decree.
