THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises;
Pursuant to Decision No. 81/NN-TCCB/QĐ dated January 28, 1993 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) establishing Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III;
Pursuant to Decision No. 87/NN-TCCB/QĐ dated January 28, 1993 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) establishing Duy Hai Export Food Factory;
Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Fruit Corporation at Report No. 624/RQ-TCCB/TTr dated December 8, 1998 and the proposal of the Director of the Personnel Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Now, Duy Hai Export Food Factory is merged into Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III under Vietnam Fruit Corporation - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Article 2. The General Director of Duy Hai Export Food Factory is responsible for transferring all technical facilities, workshops, land, assets, capital, files, organizational structure, staff... of Duy Hai Export Food Factory to Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III for management.
The General Director of Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III is responsible for receiving Duy Hai Export Food Factory and rearranging production and business operations reasonably to achieve high economic efficiency. The Board of Directors and General Manager of Vietnam Fruit Corporation are responsible for organizing and strictly supervising the merger of Duy Hai Export Food Factory into Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III without affecting production and business operations, and completing within March 1999.
The Departments of Organization and Cadres, Finance and Accounting, Planning and Land Use, according to their respective functions, are responsible for guiding and inspecting Vietnam Fruit Corporation and the relevant entities to organize and rearrange enterprises in accordance with this decision of the Ministry.
Article 3. In addition to the tasks and business sectors already defined in Decision No. 81/NN-TCCB/QĐ dated January 28, 1993 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (now the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III shall be supplemented with the task of processing fruits and vegetables.
The General Director of Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III is responsible for completing the necessary procedures for business registration with competent authorities in accordance with current regulations and operating in compliance with the law.
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Personnel Department, the Heads of related functional agencies under the Ministry, the Board of Directors and General Manager of Vietnam Fruit Corporation, the General Director of Vietnam Fruit Import-Export Company III, and the General Director of Duy Hai Export Food Factory are responsible for implementing this Decision. /.
