ISSUING THE LIST OF CERTIFICATES AND DOCUMENTS FOR VIETNAMESE SEAGOING SHIPS AND GOVERNMENT SERVICE SHIPS

Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Legal Department, the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, and the Director of the Vietnam Ship Survey Bureau,

 

Pursuant to the Maritime Code of Vietnam dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

1. ATTACH HERETO is the List of certificates and documents for Vietnamese seagoing ships and government service ships pursuant to this Decision.

 

DECISION:

 

Article 1.

2. VIETNAMESE SEAGOING SHIPS AND GOVERNMENT SERVICE SHIPS must have the certificates and documents specified in Clause 1 of Article 1 when operating.

Article 2. The Directors of the Vietnam Maritime Administration and the Vietnam Ship Survey Bureau shall organize the implementation of this Decision based on their respective functions, tasks, and authorities.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from January 1, 2006. All previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.

Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Directors of Departments under the Ministry, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Directors of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Directors of the Vietnam Ship Survey Bureau, the Heads of agencies, organizations, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Decision.

Article 4. The Director of the Office, Heads of Departments under the Ministry, Inspector General of the Ministry, Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, Director of the Vietnam Ship Registry, Heads of agencies, organizations, and individuals related shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
