RESOLUTION
Regarding the term of international government bonds of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam
adopted on June 15, 2001, No. 30/2001/QH10, as amended by Law No. 83/2007/QH

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 26/2007/NQ-CP dated May 7, 2007 of the Government on the regular meeting in April 2007;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Finance,
RESOLUTION:
1. The Government agrees to extend the term of international bonds issued in 2007 from 15 to 20 years (as stipulated in Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP dated June 1, 2007 of the Government) to between 10 and 30 years, with priority given to terms of 15 and 20 years.
2. Entrust the Ministry of Finance:
a) Establish a Regulation to control the use of international bond funds to ensure safety and efficiency;
b) Flexibly select the term of international bonds in accordance with international market conditions and domestic capital needs./.
