Amending and supplementing Decision No. 30/2003/QD-BTC dated March 17, 2003 of the Minister of Finance on the functions, tasks, powers of Departments, Office, and Inspectorate under the General Department of Customs

Pursuant to the Law on Tax Administration dated November 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 77/2003/ND-CP dated July 1, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to Decree No. 96/2002/ND-CP dated November 19, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the General Department of Customs;
Pursuant to Decision No. 30/2003/QD-BTC dated March 17, 2003 of the Minister of Finance stipulating the functions, tasks, powers of Departments, Office, and Inspectorate under the General Department of Customs;
At the proposal of the Director General of the General Department of Customs, the Head of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Supplementing the tasks and powers of the Legal Affairs Department under the General Department of Customs (as stipulated in Section 3, Part I of the Decision No. 30/2003/QD-BTC dated February 17, 2003 of the Minister of Finance on the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Departments, Office, and Inspectorate under the General Department of Customs) as follows:
Directing, guiding, and inspecting organizations and units under the General Department of Customs in implementing support and information provision services for taxpayers.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The Director General of the General Department of Customs, the Head of the Cadre and Civil Servant Department, the Director of the Office of the Ministry of Finance, and the Heads of related units and organizations are responsible for its implementation./.
