Pursuant to the Minerals Law No. 60/2010/QH12 dated November 17, 2010;

Based on Decree No. 1Pursuant to Article 58 of Decree No. 58/2016/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2016 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Minerals;

On the basis of Decision No. 36/2017/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2017, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

At the request of the Director General of the Vietnam General Department of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, and the Director of the Legal Department;

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issues this Circular on economic-technical norms for geological survey work and establishment of geological heritage maps at a scale of 1:200,000.

Article 1. This Circular annexes the economic-technical norms for geological survey work and establishment of geological heritage maps at a scale of 1:200,000.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from January 22, 2018.

Article 3. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, governmental agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, heads of units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.

In the course of implementation, if there are difficulties or obstacles, they are requested to promptly report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for consideration and resolution./.
