Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 19, 1996 of the Government on the management of animal feed;

To implement Decision No. 46/2001/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister on the mechanism for managing exports and imports of goods during the period 2001-2005.

Article 1. Announced hereby:

The list of animal feed and raw materials for processing animal feed to be imported into Vietnam during the period 2001-2005 consists of three parts:

Part 1: Prohibited import items

Part 2: Single raw material types imported according to quality requirements.

Part 3: Imported animal feed, supplementary feed, and feed additives according to the list (61 units that have been registered for quality).

Article 2. In January and July each year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will update new items and may remove existing items if they are no longer used as raw materials for animal feed and feed.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Article 4. This list replaces the list of animal feed and raw materials for animal feed exported and imported into Vietnam in 2000 (announced together with Decision No. 35/2000-QĐ-BNN-KNKL dated April 5, 2000).

Article 5. The Director of the Animal Husbandry and Forestry Promotion Department, heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals both domestic and foreign involved in the production and business of animal feed in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this decision./.
