DECREE
REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF WARD AND COMMUNE BOUNDARIES IN THE MARKET TOWN OF BAC LIEU AND VINH LOI DISTRICT, BAC LIEU PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department under the Government.
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish wards and communes in the market town of Bac Lieu and Vinh Loi District, Bac Lieu Province, as follows:
1. Establish Ward 1 under the market town of Bac Lieu based on 582.6 hectares of natural area and 17,568 population from Ward 7.
Administrative boundary of Ward 1: East borders Xuan Hoi Commune; West borders Ward 7; South borders Ward 3 and Ward 5; North borders Vinh Loi District.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Ward 1, Ward 7 will retain 305.37 hectares of natural area and 16,066 population.
2. Establish Commune Chau Hung A under Vinh Loi District based on 2,959.21 hectares of natural area and 9,680 population from Chau Hung Commune.
Administrative boundary of Chau Hung A Commune: East borders Soc Trang Province; West borders Long Thanh Commune; South borders Bac Lieu Market Town; North borders Soc Trang Province.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Chau Hung A Commune, Chau Hung Commune will retain 2,801.92 hectares of natural area and 11,164 population.
3. Establish Commune Vinh Hung A under Vinh Loi District based on 2,080.93 hectares of natural area and 9,380 population from Vinh Hung Commune.
Administrative boundary of Vinh Hung A Commune: East borders Vinh Hung Commune; West borders Phuoc Long District; South borders Vinh Hung Commune; North borders Soc Trang Province.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Vinh Hung A Commune, Vinh Hung Commune will retain 2,283.07 hectares of natural area and 9,637 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect from the date of signature. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department under the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree. /./
