CIRCULAR

ISSUING TECHNICAL REGULATIONS ON PLANT PROTECTION AND QUARANTINE

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Ordinance No. 36/2001/PL-UBTVQH10 on Plant Protection and Quarantine dated July 25, 2001.

Article 1. The Circular hereby promulgates 02 National Technical Regulations on Plant Protection and Quarantine:

1. National Technical Regulation on Field Testing the Efficacy of Plant Protection Chemicals Against Pests and Spider Mites. Code: QCVN 01-1 : 2009/BNNPTNT.

2. National Technical Regulation on Treatment of Wood Packaging Materials for International Trade. Code: QCVN 01-2 : 2009/BNNPTNT.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect six months from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, Heads of the Science, Technology and Environment Department, Plant Protection Bureau, Heads of units, and related individuals shall be responsible for organizing implementation.

In the course of implementation, if there are any difficulties, it is recommended that agencies, organizations, and individuals promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for the Ministry to study and amend accordingly.
