DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT
Regarding the establishment of towns under the districts of Yen Lap, Ha Hoa, Tam Than, Phong Chau, and Thanh Son, province of Phu Tho

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Upon the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province and the Minister - Head of the Organizational and Cadre Affairs Agency of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, establish towns under the districts of Yen Lap, Ha Hoa, Tam Than, Phong Chau, and Thanh Son as follows:
1. Establish the town of Yen Lap under the district of Yen Lap based on the entire area and population of Tan Long commune.
The town of Yen Lap has 1,196.49 hectares of natural land area and 5,904 inhabitants.
2. Establish the town of Ha Hoa under the district of Ha Hoa based on the entire area and population of Warm Thang commune.
The town of Ha Hoa has 1,002.85 hectares of natural land area and 7,060 inhabitants.
3. Establish the town of Hung Hoa under the district of Tam Than based on the entire area and population of Hung Hoa commune.
The town of Hung Hoa has 453.38 hectares of natural land area and 4,391 inhabitants.
4. Establish the town of Lam Thao under the district of Phong Chau based on the entire area and population of Cao Mai commune; 7.3 hectares of natural land area and 734 inhabitants of Chu Hoa commune.
The town of Lam Thao has 589.13 hectares of natural land area and 8,018 inhabitants.
Administrative boundaries of the town of Lam Thao: East borders Chu Hoa commune and Son Vi commune; West borders Tam Than district; South borders Hop Hai commune and Son Duong commune; North borders Thach Son commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Chu Hoa commune retains 981.7 hectares of natural land area and 4,909 people.
5. Establish the town of Phu Ho under the district of Phong Chau based on the entire area and population of Phu Ho commune.
The town of Phu Ho has 1,616 hectares of natural land area and 11,076 inhabitants.
6. Establish the town of Thanh Son under the district of Thanh Son based on 290 hectares of natural land area and 9,894 inhabitants of Son Hung commune; 125 hectares of natural land area and 2,686 inhabitants of Thuc Luyen commune.
The town of Thanh Son has 415 hectares of natural land area and 12,580 inhabitants.
Administrative boundaries of the town of Thanh Son: East borders Giap Lai commune; West borders Son Hung commune and Thuc Luyen commune; South borders Thuc Luyen commune; North borders Son Hung commune.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Son Hung commune retains 2,183.7 hectares of natural land area and 3,307 inhabitants;
Thuc Luyen commune retains 3,580.4 hectares of natural land area and 4,986 inhabitants.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS DATE OF ISSUANCE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province and the Minister, Head of the Organizational and Cadre Affairs Agency of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
