THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 199/2013/ND-CP dated November 26, 2013 of the Government pursuant to the Law on Forestry dated November 15, 2017;

Pursuant to Ordinance on Plant Varieties No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Session XI;

Pursuant to Decision No. 89/2005/QD-BNN dated December 29, 2005 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the Issuance of the Regulation on the Management of Forestry Plant Varieties;

Considering the proposal of the General Director of the Forest Protection Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. CANCEL 49 forestry plant varieties that have been recognized (including: 29 clonal lines and hybrid combinations; 20 origins) due to the absence of original seeds, slow growth, poor resistance to pests and adverse conditions; failure to meet production requirements or being replaced by new varieties with higher yield and quality (details in the attached annex).

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.

Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the General Director of the Forest Service, the Breeders, the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./
