REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PAC NAM DISTRICT UNDER BAC CAN PROVINCE

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BAC CAN PROVINCE,
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW, THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF BA BE DISTRICT ARE ADJUSTED TO ESTABLISH PAC NAM DISTRICT UNDER BAC CAN PROVINCE AS FOLLOWS:
PAC NAM DISTRICT IS ESTABLISHED ON THE BASIS OF 47,364 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 26,131 POPULATION OF BA BE DISTRICT. PAC NAM DISTRICT HAS 47,364 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 26,131 POPULATION; IT INCLUDES 10 SUBDIVISIONS, INCLUDING COMMUNES CONG BANG, GIAO HIEU, NHAN MON, BANG THANH, BOC BO, CO LINH, XUAN LA, AN THANG, CAO TAN, NGHIEN LOAN. THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF PAC NAM DISTRICT: EAST BORDERS CAO BANG PROVINCE; WEST BORDERS TUYEN QUANG PROVINCE; SOUTH BORDERS BA BE DISTRICT; NORTH BORDERS CAO BANG PROVINCE. AFTER THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES TO ESTABLISH PAC NAM DISTRICT, BA BE DISTRICT REMAINS WITH 67,809 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 46,583 POPULATION; IT INCLUDES 16 SUBDIVISIONS, INCLUDING COMMUNES THUONG GIAO, HA HIEU, KHANG NINH, CHU HUONG, MY PHUONG, YEN DUONG, DI LINH, NAM MAU, QUANG KHE, CAO THUONG, CAO TRI, BANH TRACH, HOANG TRI, DONG PHUC, PHUC LOC AND MARKET TOWN CHO RA.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BAC CAN PROVINCE, THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR AND THE HEADS OF RELATED AGENCIES SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE./.
