DECREE

Regarding the establishment of Hai Hoa Ward and Hai Yen Ward

under Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province,

DECREE:

Article 1. Hai Hoa Ward and Hai Yen Ward under Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province shall be established as follows:

1. Establish Hai Hoa Ward based on the entire 3,891.52 hectares of natural area and 8,452 population of Hai Hoa Commune.

Hai Hoa Ward has 3,891.52 hectares of natural area and 8,452 population.

Administrative boundaries of Hai Hoa Ward: East borders Tra Co Ward; West borders Tran Phu Ward; South borders Hai Xuan Commune; North borders the People's Republic of China.

2. Establish Hai Yen Ward based on the entire 4,464.3 hectares of natural area and 6,086 population of Hai Yen Commune.

Hai Yen Ward has 4,464.3 hectares of natural area and 6,086 population.

Administrative boundaries of Hai Yen Ward: East borders Ninh Duong Ward; West borders Hai Dong Commune; South borders the sea; North borders Bac Son Commune and the People's Republic of China.

After establishing Hai Hoa Ward and Hai Yen Ward:

Mong Cai City will have 17 subordinate administrative units, including Wards: Hoa Lac, Ka Long, Tran Phu, Tra Co, Ninh Duong, Hai Hoa, Hai Yen and Communes: Hai Son, Bac Son, Quang Nghia, Hai Tien, Hai Dong, Van Ninh, Hai Xuan, Binh Ngoc, Vinh Trung, Vinh Thuc.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
