DECREE
REGARDING THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF BACH THONG DISTRICT AND BAC CAN CITY, BAC CAN PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVISIONAL PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BAC KAN PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,
DECREE:
Article 1.- NOW, THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES OF BACH THONG DISTRICT AND BAC CAN CITY ARE ADJUSTED TO ESTABLISH A WARD UNDER BAC CAN CITY AS FOLLOWS:
1/ MERGE THE COMMUNES HOAN TUNG, DUONG QUANG, NONG THUONG, XUAT HOA AND THE MARKET TOWN MINH KHAI OF BACH THONG DISTRICT INTO BAC CAN CITY.
2/ ESTABLISH NGUYEN THI MINH KHAI WARD UNDER BAC CAN CITY BASED ON THE ENTIRE NATURAL AREA AND POPULATION OF THE MARKET TOWN MINH KHAI.
NGUYEN THI MINH KHAI WARD HAS 110 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 2100 POPULATION.
AFTER THE ADJUSTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARIES:
BAC CAN CITY HAS 12,972 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 28,053 POPULATION, INCLUDING 4 WARDS AND 4 COMMUNES.
BACH THONG DISTRICT HAS 108,608.6 HA OF NATURAL AREA AND 63,979 POPULATION, INCLUDING 31 COMMUNES AND 2 MARKET TOWNS.
Article 2.- THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUANCE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 3.- THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVISIONAL PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF BAC KAN PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECREE.
