DECREE-LAW
NO. 56 OF JUNE 18, 1949
PRESIDENT
VIETNAM DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 57 dated May 3, 1946 organizing the Ministries;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 50 dated June 18, 1949 organizing the Ministry of National Defense and the General Command Headquarters;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 37 dated March 19, 1947 appointing Mr. Le Khac as Chief of the Engineering Corps Bureau;
At the proposal of the Minister of National Defense concurrently serving as Commander-in-Chief of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam;
Pursuant to a resolution of the Council of Ministers;
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:
Article 1
Now appoints:
Major General Phan Tu Lang, Chief of the Personnel Bureau concurrently serving as Chief of the Logistics Bureau;
Major General Le Khac, to serve as Chief of the Engineering Corps Bureau;
Mr. Hoang Dao Thuy, to serve as Chief of the Communications and Liaison Bureau.
Article 2
Decree-Law No. 37 dated March 19, 1947 is hereby repealed.
Article 3
The Minister of National Defense concurrently serving as Commander-in-Chief of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam shall implement this decree-law accordingly.
