DECREE

Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries to establish communes under the districts of Long Dat and Chau Duc, Province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau

Article 1. Adjust administrative boundaries to establish communes of the districts of Long Dat and Chau Duc, Province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau as follows:

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

1. Divide Tam An Commune of Long Dat District into two communes: Tam Phuoc and An Nhat.

DECREE:

Article 1. Tam Phuoc Commune has 1,400.91 hectares of natural area and 4,453 population.

Administrative boundary of Tam Phuoc Commune: East borders Phuoc Thanh, Phuoc Long Tho, and Long My communes; West borders An Ngai Commune; South borders Long My and Phuoc Hung communes; North borders An Ngai and An Nhat communes.

An Nhat Commune has 525.08 hectares of natural area and 3,623 population.

Administrative boundary of An Nhat Commune: East borders Phuoc Thanh Commune; West borders An Ngai and Long Dien Town; South borders Tam Phuoc Commune; North borders Long Tan Commune.

2. Establish Phuoc Hung Commune of Long Dat District based on 854.26 hectares of natural area and 9,700 population of Phuoc Tinh Commune.

Administrative boundary of Phuoc Hung Commune: East borders Long My and Tam Phuoc communes; West borders Phuoc Tinh Commune; South borders the East Sea and Long Hai Town; North borders Tam Phuoc, An Ngai communes and Vung Tau City.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, Phuoc Tinh Commune has 679.73 hectares of natural area and 16,780 population.

3. Divide Phuoc Long Hoi Commune of Long Dat District into two communes: Phuoc Hoi and Long My.

Phuoc Hoi Commune has 1,714.44 hectares of natural area and 3,662 population.

Administrative boundary of Phuoc Hoi Commune: East borders Loc An Commune; West borders Long My Commune; South borders Phuoc Hai and Loc An communes; North borders Phuoc Long Tho and Lang Dai communes.

Long My Commune has 1,275.03 hectares of natural area and 3,012 population.

Administrative boundary of Long My Commune: East borders Phuoc Hoi Commune; West borders Phuoc Hung and Tam Phuoc communes; South borders Phuoc Hai and Long Hai Town; North borders Phuoc Long Tho and Phuoc Hoi communes.

4. Establish Son Binh Commune of Chau Duc District based on 2,289 hectares of natural area and 9,313 population of Xuan Son Commune.

Administrative boundary of Son Binh Commune: East borders Xuyen Moc District; West borders Xuan Son Commune; South borders Suoi Rao Commune; North borders Dong Nai Province.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, Xuan Son Commune has 1,711 hectares of natural area and 11,000 population.

5. Establish Binh Trung Commune of Chau Duc District based on 1,662 hectares of natural area and 6,376 population of Binh Gia Commune.

Administrative boundary of Binh Trung Commune: East borders Xuan Son Commune; West borders Binh Gia Commune; South borders Da Bac Commune; North borders Quang Thanh Commune.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, Binh Gia Commune has 1,893 hectares of natural area and 8,730 population.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Bình Giã commune has 1,893 hectares of natural area and 8,730 inhabitants.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province, the Minister, the Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
