Issuing Regulations on Linking National Defense and Security Education in Higher Education Institutions

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/ND-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/ND-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 116/2007/ND-CP dated July 10, 2007 of the Government on National Defense and Security Education;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of National Defense Education;

DECISION:

Article 1. These Regulations on Linking National Defense and Security Education in Higher Education Institutions are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Previous regulations on linking national defense education that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, Department of National Defense Education, Department of Higher Education, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, Rectors of universities and academies, Principals of colleges; Directors of student national defense and security education centers are responsible for implementing this Decision.
