DECREE
Regarding the establishment of towns under Kim Mon District and Phu Tien District of Hai Hung Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Hung Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, establish towns serving as district capitals under Kim Mon District and Phu Tien District of Hai Hung Province as follows:
1. Establish Phu Thai Town, serving as the district capital of Kim Mon District, based on the natural area of 214.17 hectares with 2,700 inhabitants from Phuc Thanh A Commune and the natural area of 53.39 hectares with 1,650 inhabitants from Kim Anh Commune, both within the district.
Phu Thai Town has a natural area of 267.56 hectares; 4,350 inhabitants.
The boundaries of Phu Thai Town: to the East, it borders Kim Luong Commune; to the West, it borders Phuc Thanh A Commune; to the South, it borders Kim Anh Commune; to the North, it borders Long Xuyen Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
Phuc Thanh A Commune retains a natural area of 324 hectares; 5,279 inhabitants.
Kim Anh Commune retains a natural area of 486.61 hectares; 6,664 inhabitants.
2. Establish Vuong Town, serving as the district capital of Phu Tien District, based on the natural area of 137.96 hectares with 2,434 inhabitants from Ngo Quyen Commune and the natural area of 54 hectares with 3,880 inhabitants from Di Che Commune, both within the district.
Vuong Town has a natural area of 199.96 hectares; 6,314 inhabitants.
The boundaries of Vuong Town: to the East, it borders Doan Dao Commune; to the West and South, it borders Di Che Commune; to the North, it borders Ngo Quyen Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
Ngo Quyen Commune retains 339.91 hectares with 4,916 inhabitants.
Di Che Commune retains a natural area of 527 hectares with 5,150 inhabitants.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Hung Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
