REGARDING THE RECOGNITION OF BA RIA TOWN, BA RIA-VUNG TAU PROVINCE AS A THIRD-CLASS CITY
THE MINISTER OF CONSTRUCTION
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 36/2003/ND-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;
Pursuant to Decree No. 72/2001/ND-CP dated October 5, 2001 of the Government on the classification of cities and urban management levels;
Pursuant to Circular Joint No. 02/2002/TTLT-BXD-TCCBCP dated March 8, 2002 of the Ministry of Construction and the Civil Service Committee of the Government (now the Ministry of Home Affairs) guiding the classification of cities and urban management levels;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province at Report No. 1153/TTr-UBND dated March 2, 2007 regarding the request for recognition of Ba Ria Town as a third-class city and the Director of the Architecture and Urban Planning Department;
DECISION:
Article 1. Recognize Ba Ria Town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province as a third-class city.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Chairmen of the People's Committees of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province and Ba Ria Town shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
