Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises;
Considering the proposal of Vietnam National Plastic Corporation (Letter No. 569/CV-NVN-VP dated November 22, 2001); In accordance with the recommendation of the Director of the Organization-Human Resources Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Merge Tan Thuan Plastic Company into Tan Phu Plastic Company under Vietnam National Plastic Corporation.
The merger shall be based on the current status and carried out in accordance with Circular No. 130/1998/TT-BTC dated August 30, 1998 of the Ministry of Finance. The handover figures shall be calculated at the time of 00:00 on January 1, 2002.
Article 2. Tan Phu Plastic Company is a dependent accounting unit of Vietnam National Plastic Corporation, having its own seal, bank account for transactions, and operating according to the classification of Vietnam National Plastic Corporation and relevant laws.
Main office located at: 323 Luu Ban Bich Street, Ward 19, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
Article 3. Business activities of the Company:
- Producing various types of plastic packaging, construction materials, household plastic products, and serving economic and technical sectors;
- Trading raw materials for plastics, various types of supplies, equipment, molds serving the plastic industry;
- Other businesses as prescribed by law.
Article 4. Direct Vietnam National Plastic Corporation to guide and oversee the merger of Tan Thuan Plastic Company into Tan Phu Plastic Company and register business activities in accordance with the prescribed procedures of the State.
Article 5. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature. Abolish previous Decisions that conflict with this Decision.
The Head of the Office of the Ministry, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of Departments and Bureaus under the Ministry, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the General Director of Vietnam National Plastic Corporation, the Directors of Tan Thuan Plastic Company and Tan Phu Plastic Company are responsible for implementing this Decision.
