DECISION
Regarding the issuance of the List of Major Crop Varieties
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated 18/7/2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to the Seed Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated 24/3/2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Agriculture, the Head of the Science and Technology Division,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issuing the List of Major Crop Varieties including varieties of agricultural crop species such as rice, corn, soybean, and peanut.
Article 2. The testing of new crop varieties, the production of pure seed, and the management and business operation of major crop varieties must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Seed Law.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Department of Agriculture, the Science and Technology Division, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development under the central cities and provinces, and the Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
