CIRCULAR

ISSUING THE "SUPPLEMENTAL LIST OF ANIMAL BREEDS PERMITTED FOR PRODUCTION AND TRADE IN VIETNAM"

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP, January 3, 2008, and Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP, September 10, 2009 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Animal Breed Law No. 16/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgates the "Supplementary List of Livestock Breeds Permitted for Production and Trade in Vietnam" as follows:

Article 1. Attached to this Circular is the "Supplementary List of Livestock Breeds Permitted for Production and Trade in Vietnam", including the following breeds:

1. Novogen Chicken Breed (Novo White and Novo Brown).

2. Zhejiang Duck Breed.

3. Indian River Meat Chicken Breed.

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect forty-five days from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Director of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Animal Husbandry Department, the Director of the Animal Health Department, the Director of the Science, Technology, and Environment Department, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of the provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Heads of relevant units are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
