ISSUING REGULATIONS ON TYPHOON AND FLOOD REPORTING
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
BASED ON Decree No. 32/CP dated May 20, 1996 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Flood and Typhoon Prevention and Control;
BASED ON Decree No. 24/CP dated March 19, 1997 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Ordinance on Exploitation and Protection of Hydro-meteorological Works;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL GENERAL DEPARTMENT,

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE REGULATIONS ON TYPHOON AND FLOOD REPORTING.
Article 2. THIS DECISION REPLACES Decision No. 206/TTg dated June 28, 1980 of the Prime Minister regarding the Typhoon Reporting System and shall take effect 15 days from the date of signature. All previous regulations on typhoon and flood reporting responsibilities that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL GENERAL DEPARTMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GUIDING AND DIRECTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECISION.
Article 3. THE MINISTERS, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT AFFILIATED AGENCIES, HEADS OF GOVERNMENT DIRECTLY SUBORDINATE AGENCIES, CHAIRMEN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES OF PROVINCES AND MUNICIPALITIES DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION.
