Pursuant to Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of Vietnam General Industrial Construction Corporation (Petition No. 845/TT-HDQT dated November 26, 2001);
At the suggestion of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres,

Article 1. Establish the Branch of Vietnam General Industrial Construction Corporation in the South.
The Branch is a dependent accounting unit of the Corporation, having incomplete legal personality, with its own seal and bank account; - International trade name: The Southern Branch of VINAINCON, abbreviated as: S.B VINAINCON. - Main office located at Dong Nhi Hamlet, La Thieu Town, Thuan An District, Binh Duong Province.
Article 2. Business activities of the Branch:
- Construction of industrial, civil, and public works; transportation, water conservancy, and technical infrastructure projects; - Installation of mechanical-electrical-refrigeration-water-information equipment and technological equipment; - Construction of power transmission lines and substations up to 35 kV; - Production and installation of steel structures, production and trading of construction materials for export and import; - Execution of other tasks delegated by the Corporation.
Article 3. The Branch of Vietnam General Industrial Construction Corporation in the South shall be responsible for completing all necessary business registration procedures and operating according to the Charter of the Branch approved by the Board of Directors of Vietnam General Industrial Construction Corporation and other relevant laws.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous documents that conflict with this Decision shall be abolished.
The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, Directors of Bureaus under the Ministry, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vietnam General Industrial Construction Corporation, Director of the Branch of Vietnam General Industrial Construction Corporation in the South are responsible for implementing this Decision.
