DECISION OF THE MINISTER

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Regarding the issuance  List of plant varieties

that must be certified to meet quality standards.

 

THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated 18/7/2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Quality of Goods Ordinance No. 18/1999/PL-UBTVQH10 dated 24/12/1999 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

Pursuant to the Plant Varieties Ordinance No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated 24/3/2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Agriculture, the Head of the Science and Technology Division,

 

DECISION:

Article 1. Issuing the List of plant varieties that must be certified to meet quality standards including: 

1. Super basic and basic rice varieties;

2. Hybrid rice varieties;

3. Hybrid maize varieties.

Article 2. During each period, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will adjust and supplement this List to meet production and business needs.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Department of Agriculture, the Head of the Science and Technology Division, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
