REGARDING THE SUPPLEMENTATION OF CERTAIN PESTICIDES INTO THE LIST OF PESTICIDES PERMITTED FOR USE IN VIETNAM

BASED ON The Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance promulgated on August 8, 2001;

AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE PLANT PROTECTION DEPARTMENT

a. REGISTRATION: Officially registering 08 active ingredients with 8 trade names (including 01 insecticide active ingredient with 01 trade name, 03 fungicides active ingredients with 03 trade names, 04 herbicides active ingredients with 04 trade names) into the list of pesticides permitted for use in Vietnam (with attached list).b. SUPPLEMENTARY REGISTRATION: 255 cases (including 123 insecticides, 80 fungicides, 41 herbicides, 08 snailcides, 03 plant growth regulators) into the list of pesticides permitted for use in Vietnam (with attached list).

DECISION:

Article 1:

1. Supplementing Point 6a following Article 6 of Circular No. 02/2019/TT-BVHTTDL dated July 5, 2019 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the procedures for legal expertise regarding copyright and related rights as follows: c. SUPPLEMENTARY REGISTRATION: 01 insecticide into the list of restricted-use pesticides in Vietnam (with attached list).

d. SPECIAL REGISTRATION: 77 biological origin pesticides (including 48 insecticides, 11 fungicides, 08 plant growth regulators, 09 snailcides, 01 adjuvant (spreaders)) into the list of pesticides permitted for use in Vietnam (with attached list).

The export and import of pesticides issued together with this decision shall be carried out in accordance with the Regulations on Export and Import of Goods issued together with Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government.

This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 2: The Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Head of the Ministry's Office, Heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

Article 3: This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 4: The Director of the Plant Protection Agency, the Head of the Ministry's Office, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
