CIRCULAR
ISSUING THE LIST OF WILD ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES LISTED IN THE ANNEXES TO THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decree No. 75/2009/ND-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/ND-CP dated January 3, 2008;
Pursuant to Decree No. 82/2006/ND-CP dated August 10, 2006 of the Government on the management of export, import, re-export, landing from sea, transit, breeding, growing, and artificial cultivation activities of endangered and precious wild fauna and flora species;
BASED ON THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD ANIMALS AND PLANTS (CITES);
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issues the List of wild fauna and flora species specified in the Appendices of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora:
Article 1. This Circular promulgates the List of wild fauna and flora species specified in the Appendices of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, which have been supplemented, amended, and adopted at the 15th Meeting of the Parties to CITES.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect 45 days from the date of signature and replaces Decision No. 74/2008/QD-BNN dated June 20, 2008 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgating the List of wild fauna and flora species specified in the Appendices of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
Article 3. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the General Directors of the Forest Administration and Fisheries General Department, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development under central cities and provinces, Heads of units, organizations, and individuals related to this Circular shall be responsible for its implementation./.
