DECREE
Regarding the merger of Dong Thon Commune, Yen Lam Commune into Yen Thai Commune, establishment of Yen Khanh District, and renaming Tam Diep District to Yen Mo District in Ninh Binh Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
At the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government;
DECREE:
Article 1.- Now, we merge Dong Thon Commune of Yen Lam Commune into Yen Thai Commune under Tam Diep District, establish Yen Khanh District, and rename Tam Diep District to Yen Mo District, as follows:
1- Merge Dong Thon Commune of Yen Lam Commune into Yen Thai Commune.
- Yen Thai Commune has a natural area of 788.17 hectares; population 5,465.
The boundary of Yen Thai Commune: East borders Yen Lam Commune and Yen Mac Commune; West borders Yen Dong Commune; South borders Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province; North borders Yen Thanh Commune.
- Yen Lam Commune has a natural area of 814.93 hectares; population 7,770.
The boundary of Yen Lam Commune: East borders Kim Son District; West borders Yen Thai Commune; South borders Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province; North borders Yen Mac Commune.
2- Establish Yen Khanh District based on 10 communes of Tam Diep District and 9 communes of Kim Son District:

4- After adjusting the boundaries.

Article 2.- This Decree takes effect from the date of signature, all provisions in previous documents that contradict this Decree shall be abolished.
Article 3.- The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree.
