Pursuant to Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, authorities, and state management responsibilities of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 178/CP dated October 28, 1994 of the Government on the tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
Pursuant to Decision No. 466/TTg dated July 2, 1997 of the Prime Minister on conducting a comprehensive inventory and revaluation of state fixed assets in the administrative and public service sector;
Pursuant to the dispatching of officials to participate in the Central Inventory Steering Committee by relevant ministries and sectors;
At the proposal of the Director of the Personnel and Training Department.

Article 1. Establish the Central Inventory Steering Committee to oversee the inventory and revaluation of state fixed assets in the administrative and public service sector, consisting of the following individuals:
1. Comrade Nguyen Sinh Hung, Minister of Finance, Chairman;
2. Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Minister of Finance, Vice-Chairman;
3. Comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy General Director of the General Statistics Office, Vice-Chairman;
4. Comrade Lai Quang Thuc, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, Vice-Chairman;
5. Comrade Le Van Tan, Deputy Director of the State Price Commission, Member;
6. Comrade Dang Nghiem Chinh, Deputy Minister of Construction, Member;
7. Comrade Nguyen Trong Xuyen, Deputy Minister of Defense, Member;

Article 2. The Central Inventory Steering Committee shall be responsible for implementing the tasks stipulated in Decision No. 466/TTg dated July 2, 1997 of the Prime Minister and the regulations in the working rules of the Central Inventory Steering Committee.
Article 3. The Central Inventory Steering Committee shall establish working groups comprising 27 members (attached list).
The tasks of the working groups shall be decided by the Chairman of the Central Inventory Steering Committee.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. The Director of the Personnel and Training Department, the Director of the Ministry of Finance's Office, the Heads of related units, and the individuals named in Article 1 and Article 3 are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
