DECREE
Regarding the establishment of district townships and communes under the districts of
Krông Nô, Đắk R'Lấp, Krông Năng, and Krông Búk, Dak Lak Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish the district townships of Krông Nô, Đắk R'Lấp, Krông Năng, and the communes of Chứ KBô and Ea Ngai under Krông Búk District, Dak Lak Province, as follows:
1. Establishing the township of Đắk Mâm - the district township of Krông Nô District based on the entire area and population of Đắk Mâm Commune.
The township of Đắk Mâm has 2,582 hectares of natural area and 4,120 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of the township of Đắk Mâm: East borders Đắk Rồ and Nam Đà Communes; West borders Đắk Sôr Commune; South borders Đắk Rồ Commune; North borders Nam Đà Commune.
2. Establishing the township of Kiến Đức - the district township of Đắk R'Lấp District based on 1,560 hectares of natural area and 4,574 inhabitants of Kiến Đức Commune.
The township of Kiến Đức has 1,560 hectares of natural area and 4,574 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of the township of Kiến Đức: East; West; South borders the newly established Kiến Thành Commune; North borders Quảng Tân Commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Kiến Đức Commune has 4,370 hectares of natural area and 3,721 inhabitants. Renaming Kiến Đức Commune to Kiến Thành Commune.
3. Establishing the township of Krông Năng - the district township of Krông Năng District based on the entire area and population of Krông Năng Commune.
The township of Krông Năng has 2,483 hectares of natural area and 9,098 inhabitants.
The administrative boundary of the township of Krông Năng: East borders Tam Giang Commune; West borders Ea Hồ Commune; South borders Phú Xuân Commune; North borders Phú Lộc Commune.
4. Establishing Chứ KBô Commune under Krông Búk District based on 6,295 hectares of natural area and 7,957 inhabitants of Pơng Drang Commune.
The administrative boundary of Chứ KBô Commune: East borders Krông Năng District; West borders Cư Pơng Commune; South borders Pơng Drang and Ea Ngai Communes; North borders Cư Né Commune.
5. Establishing Ea Ngai Commune under Krông Búk District based on 3,545 hectares of natural area and 3,339 inhabitants of Pơng Drang Commune.
The administrative boundary of Ea Ngai Commune: East borders Pơng Drang Commune; West borders Cư Pơng Commune and Cư M'gar District; South borders Đoàn Kết Commune and Cư M'gar District; North borders Chứ KBô and Pơng Drang Communes.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Pơng Drang Commune has 6,160 hectares of natural area and 21,961 inhabitants.
Article 2This Decree takes effect 15 days from the date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree /.
