REGARDING THE ISSUE OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PUBLIC OFFICERS, CIVIL SERVANTS, AND STATE EMPLOYEES

At the proposal of the Director of the Cinema Department.
WHEREAS, the Anti-Corruption Law dated November 29, 2005;
WHEREAS, the Civil Servants Ordinance dated February 26, 1998; the Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Civil Servants Ordinance dated April 28, 2000 and the Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Civil Servants Ordinance dated April 29, 2003;
Pursuant to Decree No. 185/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 25, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres.
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION IS THE CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PUBLIC OFFICERS, CIVIL SERVANTS, AND STATE EMPLOYEES IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE, SPORTS, AND TOURISM.
Article 2. THIS CODE OF CONDUCT APPLIES TO ALL PUBLIC OFFICERS, CIVIL SERVANTS, STATE EMPLOYEES, PROBATIONARY CIVIL SERVANTS, PROBATIONARY STATE EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACT WORKERS WORKING IN ORGANIZATIONS AND UNITS IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE, SPORTS, AND TOURISM.
THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE. ANY PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRADICTING THIS DECISION SHALL BE ABOLISHED.
Article 3. THE HEADS OF MINISTRIES, AGENCIES UNDER THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM, AND DIRECTORS OF DEPARTMENTS OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM IN PROVINCES AND CENTRALLY-GOVERNED CITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROMULGATING AND MONITORING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PUBLIC OFFICERS, CIVIL SERVANTS, AND STATE EMPLOYEES UNDER THEIR MANAGEMENT./.
