NUMBER 162 DATED DECEMBER 7, 1947
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the nationwide resistance war
- Considering that the majority of village-level Resistance and Administrative Chairmen and Commissioners have actively carried out resistance tasks such as:
- Sabotaging enemy transportation routes,
- Mobilizing people's militia guerrilla movements and supporting troops in all aspects,
Consolidating people's administration and undermining enemy administrative schemes,
- Increasing production, developing civilian activities, etc.,
- At the proposal of the Minister of Interior Affairs,
ISSUES THE DECREE-LAW:
Article 1
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the nationwide resistance war, Resistance Committees at provincial level shall have the duty to reward village-level Resistance and Administrative Chairmen and Commissioners who have actively fulfilled their duties.
Article 2
Resistance Committees at provincial level shall report on the most effective places for special rewards by the Government.
