Regarding the upgrading of the Hanoi Cultural and Art Secondary School to the Hanoi College of Arts

Upgrading the Hanoi Cultural and Art Secondary School to the Hanoi College of Arts.

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 90-CP dated November 24, 1993 on the structure framework of the education and training system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15-CP dated March 2, 1992 on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities for state management of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training; the Minister of Culture and Information; the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hanoi City;

DECISION:

Article 1

The Hanoi Cultural and Art Secondary School is upgraded to the Hanoi College of Arts.

Article 2

The Hanoi College of Arts has the mission to train and nurture students in various art disciplines at the college level; conduct scientific research in artistic fields to serve the development of cultural and artistic activities in the capital city. The Hanoi College of Arts is under the Hanoi People's Committee and is part of the national educational system.

Article 3

The Hanoi College of Arts shall enjoy policies and benefits issued by the State for the university and college systems.

Article 4

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Article 5

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
