ISSUING ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR THE WORK OF CREATING COASTAL ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL MAPS AT A SCALE OF 1:100,000; CREATING ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL MAPS, MARINE BOTTOM TOPOGRAPHY MAPS, COASTAL HYDROGEOLOGICAL AND DYNAMICS MAPS AT A SCALE OF 1:25,000, AND SEABED DRILLING OPERATIONS

Pursuant to the Minerals Law No. 60/2010/QH12 dated November 17, 2010;

Pursuant to Decree No. 158/2016/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2016 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain articles of the Law on Minerals;

On the basis of Decision No. 36/2017/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2017, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

At the request of the Director General of the Vietnam General Department of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, and the Director of the Legal Department;

THE MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT ISSUES THIS CIRCULAR ON ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR THE WORK OF CREATING COASTAL ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL MAPS AT A SCALE OF 1:100,000; CREATING ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL MAPS, MARINE BOTTOM TOPOGRAPHY MAPS, COASTAL HYDROGEOLOGICAL AND DYNAMICS MAPS AT A SCALE OF 1:25,000, AND SEABED DRILLING OPERATIONS.

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR ARE THE ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR THE WORK OF CREATING COASTAL ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL MAPS AT A SCALE OF 1:100,000; CREATING ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL MAPS, MARINE BOTTOM TOPOGRAPHY MAPS, COASTAL HYDROGEOLOGICAL AND DYNAMICS MAPS AT A SCALE OF 1:25,000, AND SEABED DRILLING OPERATIONS.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from February 12, 2018.

Article 3. MINISTRIES, GOVERNMENT-LEVEL ORGANIZATIONS, GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS, PROVINIAL PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES, VIETNAM GEOSCIENCES AND MINERAL RESOURCES AGENCY, UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT, AND OTHER RELEVANT ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR.

In the course of implementation, if there are difficulties or obstacles, they are requested to promptly report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for consideration and resolution./.
